Villa Kristiana

Kristiana is a luxury fully catered villa rental that offers the ultimate Greek holiday experience. She can accommodate 10 guests in 5 bedrooms offering a plethora of amenities.

During high-peak season (June 15th to 2nd week of Sept.) the villa is fully catered and operates with a staff of two: the professional chambermaid and the talented lady Chef-cook who is also the housekeeper (plus gardeners).

Villa Kristiana is located close to the island’s capital, Argostoli, where it lies an enchanting olive grove, which forms part of a grand country estate.

The charming residence is 1.5 km away (almost walking distance) from Trapezaki beach where someone can enjoy a delicious meal to the local restaurant there. Various other beautiful sandy beaches can be found further along the coast. The surrounding villages of Poriarata, Mousata and Peratata have local shop markets for the essentials.

The estate consists of the 19th c. olive-mill and its old oil press room (protected by architectural listing) and on a separate plot of land within the estate, there is the villa!

The villa’s architecture and interior design reflects the tradition of Kefalonia’s past. This historical villa that follows the style of a traditional manor house is beautifully furnished, striking an excellent balance between traditional style and modern comfort.

On the ground floor there is a large drawing room/dining area leading onto a spacious terrace with shaded dining and lounging areas. The guests can relax there while enjoying their evening cocktail and the sensational views of the island. The villa features an in-house chef with an extensive repertoire. Guests will be given a menu from which all meals can be chosen.

On the same level, there is also a fully equipped country-style kitchen adjacent to the indoor dining space. There are a double room with separate bathroom and a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and direct access to terrace and pool.

Moving up to the first floor there is a master bedroom with king-size bed and a private balcony offering panoramic views of the property and the Ionian Sea. There is also a twin bedroom with smaller balcony and a bathroom with mosaic shower.

The lower ground floor has its own entrance giving extra feeling of privacy to the guests. There is a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and a small sitting area.

Moving outside there is a captivating private garden where someone can chill reading his favorite book. Enjoy a lovely cocktail by the Tuscan style pool or relax and exercise during the afternoon. With the inclusion of contemporary features and modern furniture the villa offers comfort and luxury for all in a stunning and peaceful environment.

The villa offers a variety of services such as the in-house chef, the skippered motor boat, in-house yoga sessions and eventually the possibility of also organising a wedding.

Actually, all these ensure a completely worry free, laidback and upgraded holiday, something that is pretty rare on the Greek islands, while it makes this property a cut well above what one sees in Cephalonia and well beyond.
